Barbara Latta writes a monthly column in her local newspaper, The Pike Journal-Reporter, and is the Membership Director for the East Metro Atlanta Christian Writers in Covington, Georgia. She and her husband enjoy riding motorcycles and her blog, Navigating Life’s Curves, was birthed from riding adventures she uses to compare life’s journey to obstacles in the road.
A transplanted Georgian, Barbara grew up in Arkansas, 25 miles from the only diamond mine in North America. Being a true southerner, she loves fried green tomatoes, sweet tea, and hot weather. She and her husband live with their two dogs, Buster and Peanut who keep the empty nest from feeling too lonely. They have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and one granddaughter.
Barbara works as a paralegal by day and writes by night and loves to travel, garden, and play with her granddaughter whenever she can. She is studying Bible classes through Charis Bible College to help her attain a deeper understanding of the scriptures and she hopes to begin a teaching and speaking ministry.
Historical fiction, romantic suspense, and Christian living are Barbara’s favorite types of books to read, along with devotionals covering various subjects.
She has completed a devotional for motorcycle riders and has stories in anthologies, Christmas Moments 2, Loving Moments, God’s Promises and Pens in the Piedmont. She also contributes to Christian Devotions at www.christiandevotions.us.
Her desire is to share the truths she has learned through the Word of God to help those in bondage to negative emotions become free and have an intimate relationship with our heavenly Father. Her blog can be found at www.barbaralatta.blogspot.com. You can also connect with Barbara on Twitter.
