The Miracle of Birth

The Miracle of Birth

It’s been a busy week, with not a whole lot of sleep. That’s what happens when a newborn enters the world. On Sunday evening at 11:20 pm, my youngest son and his wife welcomed their first little one into their lives. This little sweetie was 8 lb. 10 oz. and 20″ long.

It was a long labor for my daughter-in-law. She went to the hospital Saturday afternoon. I didn’t get any sleep that night as we awaited the arrival of my newest granddaughter.

While it was exhausting for my daughter-in-law (and those of us who were waiting with her), I have to say that the miracle of birth never gets old.

This Grammie is home now and trying to get caught up on missed sleep. I’m praising God for His many blessings, especially this little girl.
