How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.
–Rom 10:15 NIV
God will make something beautiful.
I must make something beautiful.
These three words are my 2016 words from God.
God and I will be putting on something new, “making something beautiful,”
and I especially will be doing my part to make this happen.
My word for 2014 was “glory,” and I sweated at that one, until I realized God would show me
His glory so that I might glorify Him.
In 2015, “grace” was my mantra. My small women’s Bible study dug through the book Craving
Grace. I learned heaps about how to relinquish grace to others, thereby modeling God’s grace.
My words for 2016 were given, I believe, for me to rely on God to make something beautiful
when it seems out of my power to do so.
But, not surprisingly, I’ve already learned just how the Holy Spirit can melt my heart, can let me
see my own flaws in mending faltering relationships, shown me steps to take.
I ask only to walk in the light. I want to bring good news.
Ask for your word(s) and then, make 2016 full of laughter and dancing.
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
