A Verse for When You’re Feeling Worthless

A Verse for When You’re Feeling Worthless

I’ve overcome a lot in my life, but every once in a while, I feel those same thoughts of worthlessness. Not just a bad day or a bad moment where you feel silly or stupid, but really dark thoughts about not being needed, not being important at all in this world. This world is a big place and it’s easy to get lost here sometimes.

This is when the enemy wants us to feel lousy. When God has helped us overcome and the enemy wants to pull us back to the darkness. There are times when I pray to God to give me strength and help me through it, to pull me out of it. But there are also times when I have this revelation of who cares if I am really weak. Let’s say I am. Who cares? Does God? Nope, He loves me anyways. And if you know that, the rest of it…. the dark thoughts…. the bullies… somehow just fade away into the background.

Here’s a verse to think on this week:

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:10
